Extron XTP R HD 4K HDMI Receiver

The Extron XTP R HD 4K is a receiver for extending video, audio, bidirectional control, and Ethernet over a shielded CATx cable. This HDCP 2.3-compliant receiver supports video signals at resolutions up to 4K. For streamlined integration, it provides selectable HDMI audio pass‑through, audio de‑embedding to digital S/PDIF or analog stereo audio outputs, and relays for room control. Ethernet extension and insertion of bidirectional RS‑232 and IR provide LAN access and remote AV device control. Signals can be delivered up to 330 feet (100 meters) over shielded twisted pair cable. The XTP R HD 4K supports remote power and is ideal for XTP Systems® that require long-distance transmission to displays and other output devices.

• HDCP 2.3 compliant — Ensures display of content-protected media and interoperability with other HDCP-compliant devices. Requires an HDCP-compliant transmitter to pass HDCP content with this receiver.
• Remote power capability — For simplified installation, the receiver can be remotely powered by the XTP matrix switcher over the twisted pair connection.
• Extron XTP DTP 24 shielded twisted pair cable is strongly recommended for optimal performance
• Compatible with CATx shielded twisted pair cable — The XTP R HD 4K supports a maximum transmission distance of 330 feet (100 meters) for all compatible resolutions when used with CATx shielded twisted pair cable. Shielded twisted pair cabling with solid center conductor sizes of 24 AWG or better is recommended for optimal performance.
• Supported HDMI 1.4 specification features include data rates up to 10.2 Gbps, Deep Color up to 12‑bit, 3D, and HD lossless audio formats
• Comprehensive EDID management — Use XTP System Configuration Software to access EDID Minder for setting video input EDID, capturing EDID from connected displays, or uploading custom EDID files. Proper EDID management ensures that sources and displays are easily integrated into a system resulting in optimized system operation. Freely downloadable EDID Manager 2.1 software is available for advanced EDID editing and creating custom EDID files.
• EDID Minder® automatically manages EDID communication between connected devices — EDID Minder ensures that all sources power up properly and reliably output content for display.
• Key Minder® continuously verifies HDCP compliance for quick, reliable switching — Key Minder authenticates and maintains continuous HDCP encryption between input and output devices to ensure quick and reliable switching in professional AV environments, while enabling simultaneous distribution of a single source to multiple displays.
• HDCP Visual Confirmation — When HDCP‑encrypted content is transmitted to a non‑HDCP compliant display, a full‑screen green signal is sent to the display for immediate visual confirmation that protected content cannot be viewed on that display.
• Ethernet extension — Centralized 10/100 Ethernet communication can be implemented via an Ethernet pass-through port to reduce the amount of independent network drops required within a system.
• HDMI audio de-embedding with analog stereo and digital S/PDIF audio outputs — Digital HDMI audio is made available as a balanced or unbalanced analog stereo signal on captive screw connectors.
