Get ready to rumble with Flight’s new bass ukulele! The DUBS is a wonderful addition for both ukulele ensambles and pop bands alike, since it tunes just like a regular bass guitar—but it’s half the size! Crafted in mahogany and featuring an active pickup, Flight’s bass ukulele is a versatile little beast that will delight bass players of all ages.
The DUBS Bass Ukulele is constructed from laminate mahogany. Mahogany is a hardwood which has been used to make quality musical instruments for centuries. Its colour can vary a fair amount, from a pale pinkish brown to a darker reddish brown, and it tends to darken with age.
The neck and fingerboard of the DUBS are made from African okoume and Walnut. It’s a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard, is gentle to your hands, and looks great as well. Additionally, the neck features a built-in truss rod, allowing you to adjust its curvature for optimal playability and long-term stability.
